Jamie Watkins, Co-Founder,  holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University and brings over 25 years of experience in nervous system regulation, Eastern and Western healing modalities, and holistic bodywork. Her extensive training includes Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute, Equine Bodywork, Reiki, Reflexology, and Osteopathic-informed approaches. Based on California’s Central Coast, she offers equine wellness work and individual care locally and nationwide, combining decades of clinical expertise with a comprehensive approach to healing.

Throughout her career working alongside both people and horses, Jamie observed the profound, reciprocal influence each has on the other’s well-being and nervous system state. Recognizing this deep connection led her to create Symbiotic Integrated Mirroring (SIM) Sessions. She developed this collaborative method to support horses and humans simultaneously through co-regulation, mutual awareness, and synchronized care.

Jamie believes that healing occurs most naturally when the nervous system feels safe, supported, and connected. Her work focuses on helping horses and humans reconnect with their innate balance, improve emotional and physical well-being, and strengthen the bond between them.
